Resort or Ski Area: Mohawk Mountain
Conditions: Night Skiing - 20's, clear, no wind
Trip Report: My town runs a Friday Night Ski program for middle and high schoolers. My daughter joined the program last year and this year, much to my daughter's dismay, i joined as a chaperon.
I only got in 6 runs. Conditions were pretty good. a bit icy in spots but sticking to the sides of the trails got me some soft stuff most of the time. place was pretty empty. Mohawk isn't 100% open yet (at least at night) but while we were there they were blowing snow and grooming trails.
I didn't get as much skiing in as i had hoped but i think in future weeks i'll do better now that i know how the evening works.
