Some chairlifts are more enjoyable than others, and some can be just flat out fun

Which chairlifts do you enjoy to be on, or are willing to traverse an extra 200 feet to get on?

Let me know what you think, and once I get a few nominees, I will make a poll.

For me, its a close call between the slide brook express and south ridge triple at K, but i got to chose the latter. Other than the fact its ridicilously slow, whats more fun than getting thrown around 2 bullwheels?

O yea, check out my other post, its in the less popular and visited forum

without question the burke upper mountain quad - had some of the best converstaions and parties on that lift, slow enough for even my best friend to get through most of his stories, drink a beer in leisure, and sit three other good friends,

second place - the bonnie at jay, only because it is usually the only one that kept us from having to skin up jay and allowed for powder laps on the wind hold days

Slidebrook at The Bush. It's just fun, scenic, fast and an all around unique lift!

I'll go with Slidebrook, ski a lot on which ever mountain I start out on and then head to slidebrook for a nice long, scenic ride and rest, waving to people as they go by in the opposite direction.

Not even close...the single at MRG.

Alone with the mountain. Good for the soul.

In my limited years of skiing, I would have to say the South Ridge Triple at Killington. I love the left hand turn and enjoy terrain it services.

Is the Red Chair at Magic a double? I'm guessing it is but it looks kind of tight.

Without a doubt it is the Single Chair. The only problem is that sometimes it gets just a bit lonely on the chair.

Am I the only one that hates Slidebrook? When I ride a lift I want to be at skiable terrain - not the base of another lift. A lift that goes sideways just seems pointless to me... I tend to spend a full day at the mountain where I started when I'm there.

Did you ever notice how some Single riders like to talk with you while you're catching you breath on Chute? Maybe people get so lonely by the time they get up there. I've seen one guy with a probably 5 year old kid on his lap riding the Single! Only at MRG!

I guess the MRG Single is my favorite. I think I'd like the Slidebrook Express, but I've never been on it. The South Ridge Triple at K sounds cool too.. I also thought the Z lift at Hunter was kinda neato.
