South Ridge Triple at Killington (when it is NOT freezing cold out).

When I go on it with my friends we always scream like we are little kids on a roller coaster when we hit the sharp "Sudden Turns"!

SRT at Killington is, especially if I'm with people who've never been on it before. "What does sudden turns ahead mean?"

My favorite lifts.... hmmmmm... any detachable poma works for me. And any double running at about 550fpm.

Specifics: even though it doesn't fit in with what I mentioned above, I love the North Ridge Express at Mt. Ellen. Fastest access to the best terrain.

I also enjoy the Red Double at Magic, and the Single at MRG. The poma at Burke is fun as well.

One of my favorite lifts to ride (and I could literally ride it all day) is the main t-bar at Bobcat. Unfortunately, they don't seem to really be operating anymore, but I really loved that lift. The liftline was beautiful after a couple of fresh inches.

Single at MRG, though it is lonely.. Castlerock double. I've never been on Slidebrook (though I've skied in Slidebrook!). I pretty much stick at South, and when I have skied North, I've parked there. Have to try it out sometime.

Mine is gone now but the summit t bars at Cannon were my favorite. The electric (left looking up) was the fastest and steepest. My big friend and I broke more than a few cables on the warm days when the recoil would totally unwind before you moved at all!Snapo! In the days of 210 cm skis and up,there was a sign on the lift shack that said no skis under 200 could ride the electric lift. Those liftlines were also one of my favorite runs that were called trail 11 which it looked like from afar.

I like high speed quads and six packs the best for getting to the top quickest..Gondolas are also nice unless they pack them to full capacity. The only fixed grip chairs I like are direct and steep fixed grip chairs like the Heavens Gate triple at Sugarbush South and the Thunder/Sublette quads at Jackson Hole which rise 1400/1700 vert in a matter on minutes due to their steep pitch.

The new 6-pack at Blue mountain is the bomb...it's so easy to get 8 1050 vert runs in an hour.

one lift i totally forgot about is the snowdon poma. That thing moves faster than a detachable quad (or at least feels like it does), its never crowded, and as far as i know only skiers can ride it

The Snowdon Poma is not faster than a detachable quad..but it is faster than a fixed grip quad...it does run somewhere between 7-800 feet per minute..vs..about 500 for a fixed grip and 1000-1200 for a detachable..

I'll take pretty much any poma or T-Bar over a chairlift. I think if they came back in vouge to service expert terrain in environments where wind holds are common, that would be a beautiful thing. Hello Sugarloaf! It would be a helluva steep ride, but a Poma up the Old Gondi Line from mid-station to summit would rule.
