Thanks, I needed that! Was considering hiking at K tomorrow, but may just hit snow instead.

Just got home myself. Best early season conditions I have skied. ever, especially opening day.

Kudos to the fan guns they are sooo quiet and were laying some very nice snow. Great coverage.


The even let people up the lifts 10 minutes early! Got 5th or 6th chair.

They even had a great park set up, that got crowded but who cares.

Park had about 9 elements from boxes to propane tank. picnic table. There was even a cool tree gap that lasted about 25 minutes.

Im sure everyone enjoyed it, GET OUT THERE!!

I'm psyched to hear conditions were so good. I'm also happy to read that they're trying to get Chute open for tomorrow! I can't wait for Monday, it's going to be sweet!

Chute opened today on the North Face in the afternoon I heard : )))))

Yes, Chute opened this afternoon....how about this for early season: top to bottom runs on three mountain faces. And Chute is going to stay mostly ungroomed as long as possible. River Run is a definite maybe for Monday as well.

Yep.. my urgency to get there just went up a bunch after watching the video.. I did not plan on visiting Mt. Snow this season at all but I'm thinking they'll get at least +1 from me now and we'll go from there.
