Cool, the wife just swapped the time share for when the kids are off in the spring...skiied Loon several times...now to be slopeside....that's just cool...I must admit the kids have got to be spoiled after staying slopeside up at Smuggs the last several years...

Damn I'm really jonesen now.....

Who do you think will have the best early seson conditions?

I'm thinking Hunta, Killington, or the river (which is a bit of a hick for us)

Maybe Killington over turkey weekend....

This looks like it was intended for Skiing & Riding Discussion so I moved it.

That sounds good Brett, staying slopeside has got to be cool! :D

I stay at the MCL every year. Great place. It can get a little noisy if it's busy, but being slopeside is nice...

See, I get a little sun baked and I forget how to post....it's been over 100 degrees last weekend...I can't take it....

Take my daughter to the rink all summer and hit the ice...she's on a synchro team...they're just starting up again...

skating barefoot, in shorts and a t-shirt is awesome...get the same fogging affect on my glasses when I leave the rink...kinda like leaving the lodge in reverse..

I will definetly let you guys know when we're up there...I want to break 20 times this year with the family...we just need to get an earlier start this year....

I was impressed to see that Bellayre opens so early...

AND...I bought a new (well, it came off a year lease) Town and Country...and it has GPS...very cool...you can create an "address book" so I'm starting to add all the mountain addresses in there...not that I need to....maybe some new ones...perhaps Burke?

AND it's got the DVD...I gotta find someMiller on DVD...all my stuff is on tape...

ramble...ramble....ramble...man I need a fix....

The family has a condo at Loon, so I've learned to like it. We did stay at the Mountain Club once, and I wasn't too impressed. It's great to be able to ski in and out, but the room wasn't too clean, and the service wasn't great.

I'm not a big an of the mountain club room set up. You will hear the snow guns.
It might be nice for weekend or a couple of days, but I would not want to own one. The pool is very nice and so is the outside hot tub. Parking Garage is nice. We have friends that have a 1/4 share we visit on their weekends. I really like the lounge great for cocktails or the lunch buffet. My view is slanted I prefer a more home like set up than a hotel.
