I went to Mountain Creek this morning. I was in line for the gondola about 10 minutes before it opened so I got probably the 5th or 6th chair. About 3" to 4" of powder had fallen during the couple of hours before I got there so I skied fresh tracks for the first couple of runs, it was fantastic, probably some of the best conditions I've skied there. It was snowing most of the time I was there today. We got about 30" of snow last Monday and a couple of 3" to 5" or so snows since then. Got about 5" at my home today. So the whole mountain is open with a great base. People were even skiing and snowboarding in the woods, incredible for NJ. It looks like this pattern may continue through next week so it should be a great February. I even got to ski powder at Mt. Peter last week since they are closed Mondays and Tuesdays this season so Wednesday was still fresh from the storm on Monday and they left some trails ungroomed.
