I definately agree with the flat light comments. When I can't see I become very tentative. I also ski very poorly when slopes are very crowded. I recall one day at BW, just on one of the main easy greens but litle of the mountain was open. There were folks of all abilities skiing at all speeds and in every way shape and form. I recall thinking it was about as dangerous as it gets.

Glad I cruised the responses...cuz I was thinking...no place "kicks" me. But Wa-Loafer hit the nail on the head...Killington.

The last tine I skied there was OK. THey had groomed Superstar New Year's Eve, so my sister-in-law and I hit the slopes while everyone else slept it off on New Year's day. It was foggy, so my forst run was tentative. Subsequent runs were better.

But soon we were off to other areas and Double Dipper was ice and moguls. I suffered. When we quit for the day, we came down someplace that again was ice and moguls. Thank god I had the helmet on. I fell and cracked the helmet pretty good...right on the edge by my eye. No helmet would have been a facial fracure for sure.

I'm not a fan of K.

Cannon, Wildcat, Okemo...aw yeah!

This thread reminded me of a trail that used to always bring out the suck in my skiing. Years ago, Angel Street at Loon always had it out for me when I skied there regularly with my folks. I always seemed to take a slide at least once per ski day on that trail  Got to the point that even when my abilities progressed, I still always got weirded out when skiing it. Very strange stuff. Been a few years since that was an issue but it was totally mental at the time.
