What are you waiting for?!?!?! ;)
well, considering i have jay and burke in my back yard on my season pass, it has been hard to pull myself away for the longer and more troublesome drive. plus the crowd factor, looking to burn some mid-week vacation time in march. i was actually waiting for things to fill in a bit more, but this past week took care of that.

I was just busting your stones a little. I haven't been to Burke or Jay yet, but from what I've seen of them I think I'd have a hard time leaving them behind for elsewhere too. That said MRG looks pretty sweet right now, might want to think about using up those passes soon... :)

most of those tree runs, they were not really in anything deep. Just at the end did I see them finally get down into some deep stuff...

Valentines Day.....not bad...

...but St. Patty's Day....deep & blower....now there's a storm.

Of course I was in Florida for Valentines (as I do work about 17 days each year) so my comparison is second hand from grizzled powderhounds who skied both storms. Do I sound jealous, sour, and envious ? You betcha I do ! Missing V-day storm still rankles, so diminishing the cheesy Heart holiday is all my feeble mind can come up with. By the way, Florida's tallest peak is 345' above sea level, and last had fresh tracks on it about 10,000 BC.

What I remember most vividly from St. Patty's is (and don't try this at home, kids) at one point absently looking down at my belly button, which was parting snow, while tree skiing at Sugarbush. Mesmerized, I finally snapped out of it and continued my line. Lucky not to bark munch there.

Taught my boys to play hooky that Monday....and they ratted us out to Wife/Mom within 30 seconds of getting home. I had mentioned "unsafe road conditions" and they babbled about "sick pow".

Easter Weekend storm....anyone ?

Worth a bump on an 80+ degree late summer afternoon. Enjoy!

Next time I see you remind me to punch you right in the mouth for bumping a vid like that in the summer!

JK ;) Although that isn't making this heat any more bearable...
