Trails(s) Hiked: Sourdough Ridge
Difficulty: Easy. I am in great shape but I felt the 6400 feet above sea level as I climbed the 300 feet! Had no problem hiking at Crystal mountain later in the day (lower elevation)
Conditions: Cloudy, some sun, some mist, temp around 60 degrees.
Special Required Equipment: None. I had a fleece, water bottle, bug spray, sunscreen, granola bars and I wore Teva sandals
Trip Report: I had the chance to hike around the trails at Sunrise base. I was at the base at 9:30am. There were only a few cars at that time. The views were awesome even if there were clouds. Very peaceful. I posted pictures in my Gallery.
