None as of yet (there really hasn't been any prolonged period of suitable weather). If my memory is good the planned opening date is the 24th or 26th and was told they are sticking to that and disregarding the big push to be open for the Boston ski show. Look for the same as always when they do open, Chute, River run, Upper Canyon, Standard and the Launching pad. Also as in recent years they won't open unless you can ski to the bottom so no opening just the north face which in genral terms they could open about a week before the front.

Yeah, I was going to say, Freefall is usually part of the opening at Snow, right?

Freefall is usually the third trail down the North Face. Chute is the first and they put a good layer down followed by fallen timbers with another good layer (they only need to really cover about 1 3/4 tails following this manor) Then freefall (by the second or third weekend but weather dependant maybee the first weekend this year) which may be thin when first opened.

They must have changed their approach. I remember a time (early November) in probably 96 or 97 where Freefall was the first run on the face...
