My Kids Write Lyrics for Weezer

So here's one of the world's most famous bands, Weezer, singing lyrics that my son wrote and later reading something that my daughter wrote. See 3:30 and 5:50 respectively.

Here's what happened:

Hello Mr. L. I wasnt sure who exactly to address this to, but on the Warren school website it lists you as the school principal, so I figured that was the best way to go. I work for a band called Weezer and I wanted to pass along a message to two of your teachers, [KS] and [KN]. Some time ago, they put together a book of stories and drawing by their class, all inspired (loosely) by Weezer's song "Surf Wax America", and sent the book to our PO Box. I shared the book with the band and it was a big hit. We loved the book so much I filmed the band reading from it and we posted it on our website recently. Please pass along this info and link to the teachers, and perhaps they can share the video with their class.
