Finished up with work early so I decided to get back on the bike after sitting around for over 2 weeks. After reading Marc's post in the other thread I did some stretching at home and then headed over.
Started the ride at 5 and did the warm up twisties then crossed over Scoville and rode the trail up to E. Chippiens. Everything was pretty dry except for the usual muddy spots. Then up to B Street, beared right at the end and rode to the next intersection. Was feeling good so I went left down the hill(noticed a new chicane on the down hill) and into the logging area and then took the right(bee hive trail?). Continued to were Tim's friend busted up his ribs and then to the rusty truck trail(noticed a new drop that you can take about 100 yards before the truck) and then followed the blue back to the parking lot and got back a little after 6. 4.4 miles in a little over an hour( a couple stops for a minute or two), just kept a comfortable pace throughout.
Being the first time I've ridden that area this year I found myself stopping on top of all the obstacles(the ones Ifinally rode the end of last season, B street rock and the other rocky drop), after looking at them for a minute I ended up going back and riding them.
Knee did not really bother me during the ride or this morning so I will probably try and do another RAW Thursday and try for 8 miles.
