I want to create a graphical calendar of all Blackout/Holiday Rates for New England areas, since the dates do vary a little bit. This is how I chose where to ski during holiday periods. I want to publish it to the web. I've futzed a little with an MS Outlook Calendar. If I use that, about the only thing I could do is put it into PDF.

Anyone got a better way to publish a calendar to the web (I do have a site I can host it on.) I suppose I could use a 3rd party site, as long as it's free, but generally shy away because you lose content/format control.

Have you tried the Google calendar? Might fit the bill.

That's just a table dressed up to look like a calendar. Not exactly an interactive tool.

So? I don't think Bill is looking for interactive. Just display a calendar with blackout dates. Or thats what I understood his needs as...

It will be static, but there is a lot of data to initially load, and I'd like it to be reusable (well, consider year 1 a prototype, so I'm open to rework.) It would be nice to see all the resorts on one page - I've got about 30-40 of interest to myself. The google calendar might be a good idea, so other people can enter what interests them. The nice thing about a calendar program is that you can look at it by the day, week or month.
The problem with monthly views, while I like them, is that it can get to be too many to display them all.

Ok, not interactive, but with the html calender he'd have to go into each cell and edit code to make updates. Certainly not as easy as clicking on a week to make an update/add info. Not to mention the ability to control sharing.

I prototyped it on Google Maps. This is much faster. I think I like it. I was able to punch a bunch of data in pretty quickly. PM me for me for my address/account if you want to see what it looks like.
