Hello all, I know I haven't been around lately... well that’s due in part to keeping busy with the preparations for our first baby... Who finally graced us with her presence on June 16th after many hours in the hospital.

Congrats! I am so happy to see you with that beautiful little girl! Congrats to the two of you, she is beautiful and well worth the wait!

She will be joining you on the slopes soon enough (particularly since you both ski),and those of us who have skied with you will undoubtably be trying to keep up with her, but until then I know you will enjoy each and every moment with your precious daughter.

Bvibert and severine -

Congtaulations on your little girl - the pictures look great! You look remarkably well-rested. That won't last, but like teachski said, you only have to wait a few years (4 at most) and she will be skiing with you.

Congratulations! Trust me Brian. A father and daughter form a very special bond. My wife always jokes that my daughter's the love of my life and vice versa. Enjoy the time with her as a baby. It sounds cliche, but kids grow up very quickly. You will be in awe of the changes that happen in the first and then again in the second years. It truly is amazing how you can love someone so much that you've never met, and that love grows more and more everyday. Congrats again!

Echoing Greg's sentiment...

Absolutely correct, Having a little girl is the best thing that could ever happen. My wife says the same thing, and its all true.

Congratulations!

Congratulations! She's a cutie!

Everyone's right: It changes you for the better, and it goes by too fast. We're into the terrible 3s already. Suprisingly, 2 wasn't so terrible. :-?

Congrats! Very exciting time for you both!

Smitty, it's the halves that seem to be the worst for us... we've got a 2.5 and a 3.5. I don't recognize my wife when I get home at night.

Congrats! Newborns are always so cool. It's hard to imagine how quickly they grow up. Terrible 2's and 3's are nothing. Wait until they are teenagers! My three drive me nuts!!!
