Teaser pic from last weekend at Burke (no snow making on this trail 8) ).

Is this trail rated a blue at Burke? A trail with that pitch and width at a place like Sunapee would likely be a black...

In any case, it does look nice...

Yes. That is Powderhorn.

Much of Burke's terrain that is rated Blue would be a single black or even double (in the case of Willoughby or Bear Den, which stacks up with Goose Bumps) and the blacks would be double.

I'm not sure how you can beat a low profile mountain with great snow in the NE Kingdom...

Now here is the odd part....assuming it is good...us Burke skiers prefer that word not get out. We like our low profile place!

The picture makes it look way steeper than it actually is in this section. This is the widest section of the trail though.
The woods need another 6-8 inches to open up. Jungle would need over a foot (lots of rocks in there). I foresee Caveman and Throbular openning this weekend if we get at least 6 inches tonight.

You got a bunch of great advice here. Staying in littleton I would hit both. Keep an eye on the forecast, burke is more sheltered from the wind than cannon.
