from the k report:

Winter has arrived!

Currently we have more than 200 guns covering the top portion of Killington Peak, including the Northridge area. Cold temperatures are here through Thursday and snowmaking will continue on the upper portions of the mountain. Next week we'll resume snowmaking at the base of K-1. Check back often for updates.

Wow that blows..well I guess I'm saving a bunch of money and driving this weekend. I'm thinking of taking the Monday after Thanksgiving off and going up there from Black Friday November 28th to December 1st and skiing Saturday, Sunday and Monday..by then there should be a good amount of terrain open and maybe I can do a day at Okemo, Killington and Sugarbush..

We're just in a bad pattern...rain on the end of the week and on weekends....

Truly par for the course this time of year. I think I get rained out every time I plan to hit Killington in November.

yep....most people forget that while ski areas did get open in November 2 years ago, it was minimal terrain off and on all the way until Valentine's Day, then WHAM

you can never tell and I'm really not all that discouraged at the moment. If this continues for another couple of weeks THEN I'll get discouraged in a hurry.

That's not the weather pattern, that's just because you planned the trip.  I seem to recall that at least one or two of the trips I have met you we have had less than stellar weather/conditions. Good work.
