You could pretty much copy the "Favorite Northeast Resort" thread from earlier this season and that could be my answer. I haven't ventured out of NH that much in the 2 seasons since I started skiing again.

NH: Sunapee, Attitash, Bretton Woods (more the resort as a whole than the mountain)
VT: Jay, Stowe, Smuggs, Burke, and of course MRG
NY: Whiteface, Gore, Hunter
ME: Sugarloaf, Saddleback, Sunday River
Quebec: Mont Ste Anne, Le Massif

Do you have a ski house in NH?

Jay, Wildcat, Sundown, Whiteface, Hunter, Bromley. For the second year in a row I made the false promise of going to Sundown for an afternoon, so I gotta get there next year. Jay will happen next year. Wildcat... maybe. Whiteface and Hunter will probably be a long time.

Nice. We'd love to have you down. Probably really not that far for you either.

I mapquested it and I was surprised to see it’s only 2 hours for me. In the past Gore’s bump contest was on the same day as yours. This year Gore was Sat. and you where Sunday so I could have pulled it off.

The NYSEF mogul coach at WF is a friend of mine. I was telling him about it and he seemed interested. If it falls right next year we could do Gore on Sat. and SD on Sunday.

His son is very good and could probably compete for the $1,000. He would bring several young bumpers too. Of course all this was about 5 beers into the evening, but I want to come even if I’m by myself.

Tough to drive south to ski though. I get that.

I drove 70 miles south to ski Hunter for 41 years. :)

Burke and Saddleback would be the 2 on my list. Many others that would make like list and almost be a never skied at since it's been close to 2 decades for some of them - Gore, Whiteface, Loon, Waterville Valley

I've only been out here two seasons, and I may only be here for one more, but here are my remaining priorities:

1. MRG -- seems to embody the best of what is unique about NE skiing
2. Whiteface -- olympic heritage and adirondack location
3. Stowe -- ski industry legend

I've been to Killington, Pico, Mt. Snow, Tremblant, and Sundown. Stowe and Smuggs I've spent a day apiece at, but too long ago to really count.

Of those, I have no real desire to ski Snow or Tremblant again. No real desire to ski Flatton. Everywhere else is fair game. Got a lot of places to hit up.

NH - Wildcat, Attitash, Waterville Valley, Loon
VT - Jay Peak, Bromley (sentimental family reasons), Stratton

Smuggs. Again! Every damn year I say it.

Lots of smaller areas I want to check out. Balsams, Dartmouth, Suicide 6, Middlebury, etc.

For the major ski areas in New England, I think the only ones I have not skied but don't care if I do or not include Stratton, Cranmore, Ascutney, and Bretton Woods. Would love to give them all a shot just so I can say I have skied every major area in the region.

Burke and Jay Peak also Tuckermans although I know this is not in keeping with this thread it is something I have always wanted to do. As I approach the 50 mark in life I hope to realize this goal in the next couple of weeks. I only hope this body has the stamina to climb and then ski.
