they need to raise the seats up a few inches too, ski books add another inch or two...at normal height, you are sitting below your knees...

Some newer resorts are having higher toilets.

I totally understand the rational on toilet on the lower floor. If they could make the stair more ski boot friendly (low rise, big platform).

My personal preference is when the bottom level of the lodge is ski accessible. I ski right to the lower level of the lodge to use the bathroom first (or last, depending on situation). It's much easier to trudge back up with the skis and then go to the upper level of the lodge for food. Anything to avoid stairs.
