33 and 1/3 at Magic. All the other trails had (for the most part) names with the Magic theme. It was the only named cross/connector trail. Since there were 33 other trails, it became 33 and a 1/3, since it was only a third of a trail. Funny, now that they have "Fifty" trails, it doesn't make sense.

Valerie's Climax at Snowbird is probably my favorite. Named when avalanche control efforts on it caused a slide to take out an outbuilding that should have been vacant at the time of the avalanche control shots. As the patrol check the building to see what they could salvage, a slightly shaken, naked couple emerged. Seems privacy was a little hard to find at the Bird in the early days.

just got back from copper mountain in CO and they had a couple of funny trail names-

they had a blue run call "Oh No"(my Korean friend got a chuckle about that one) and a black bump run called "Too Much"

"Misery Whip" at the Loaf is a cool name.

In my mind, northern New England
The Loaf has really cool names -- Boomauger, Bubblecuffer, Widowmaker. Even the glades have neat names - Brocolli Garden, etc.

I always suspected Buckaroo Bonzai at Jay was spelled wrong. If they meant the Japanese word for small plant/tree, it's 'bonsai.' If they meant the word Japanese warriors scream, it's 'banzai.' Maybe I'm missing something.

as you are heading down Wilfred's, there is a plaque on a big boulder off to the left that explains where it got it's name. I don't recall the details, but I know the person it's named after is no longer alive. I read it once a few years back. I went down Wilfred's for the first time in years last weekend. By the time I remembered about the plaque, I was past where I think it is.

Thanks for the info Kickstand.
I'll have to check that out next time im at the 'trash.
