i know we are supposed to want winter to hang on forever, but i'll admit it, i'm ready for spring skiing. It really is my favorite part of ski season. I'm probably in the complete minority, but give me a 60 degree bluebird day over a powder day.

i'll ban myself now.

It's been a messed up spring in SNE. Rain, but cool with cold nights. That doesn't lend itself well to a good spring season. And now the local mountain is closing this weekend with tons of snow. That sucks. I expect 4 or 5 more good days this season though; hopefully sunny and warm ones with soft bumps.

Since I live down here in MASH...Mid Atlantic Ski Hell..I've skied corn and slush numerous times already..When I'm up at Stowe I either want crisp fast groomed snow..fresh Poe...or virgin corn..

well gonna show the greenness of me here but what is this corn you speak of? Being originally from Long Island we were lucky to have a snowfall last until the next day.

soft spring somewhat slushy snow, often times refered to as mashed potatoes or corn. great for bump skiing

In the absence of powder, give me corn.

In the absence of corn, give me powder.

But to your point, yeah, nothing better than those 60-degree bluebird days skiing in the potatoes.

Unless it's a 32-degree powder day.

I think I'm confused now as to what I want.

I definately enjoy a great powder day, but a nice 60 degree blue bird day is just as good. Those days of skiing whoop me more than a foor of fesh snow. I was skiing at Jay today dreaming of soft snow. There is a major base that need some warm weater and sun to get the spring skiing going.

Pat, you might enjoy winter skiing more if you traded in those MC Hammer wind pants for some real ski pants :-D

Spring is here. Lacrosse season has grabbed a hold of me yet again. Still hoping for one more ski day but the warm temps are on my mind.
