Yes, my wife and I moved to Salt Lake City. I am here now for good. Was in between this summer for work purposes.
And yes in less than three weeks I will be a Dad to a little girl. She will be a ripper. Boys, keep your hands off her. I know it is ski season and all, but the best things in life aren't planned.
The worst kept secret of all is that we are passholders now at Snowbird. Been talking about it a lot. Skied there in June and on July 4th. Loved the vibe and the terrain. I like it better than Alta. Been hiking it a lot this summer, doing the tram rides (free for passholders), talking to folks, reading up on it:
And spending a lot of time there. Love it. Have shared thoughts with the management and gotten good response. I also submitted comments to the NFS for their expansion plans and to help them out.
We love it in SLC. Good vibe, lots of young folks, clean city, just the right size, and 25 minutes to the 'bird. I can see the mountains from my house and pretty much everywhere else in town.
We hated to leave New England, but it was time. Things in Vermont are just not what they once were. It has become the dreaded, "nice place to visit, not a great place to live." No negative vibes though.....especially since Snowbird has the
