Glad to see so many trip reports from the weekend. Sounds like Okemo can fit into all of them. Flat light, scraped in places, light non-accumulating snow all day. Had the best time in the afternoon along on the edges making the quick slalom turns especially on upper and lower arrow, and screamin' demon and sidewinder at Solitude. Fun and exciting because you are right on the edge of trouble. Sort of making a decent day out of a ho-hum day. I think I remember World Cup skiing pretty good also. Only lift that had a short minute wait was the Summit quad. Otherwise they had plenty of lifts and trails open to spread the moderate crowd out. A lot of training and ski team practice going on. Was with four friends so that made it fun in itself. Was out there 8:30 -3:30 with a 45 minute lunch. Overall not bad for $30.00 and a few cans of food! Plus they gave me a coupon to ski midweek in January for $39.00. Once they get some bumps set up, or it dumps and the woods open, I may go back up there on a Friday in January. It will not take much either. All over Vermont there seems to be a solid base setting up................
I only took a few drab pics, nothing worthy of posting. Wasn't into picture taking yesterday.
Did not meet Philpug and some epicski crew that were supposed to meet, found myself at Solitude at 10:00. Had a crew already with me so it sort of slipped my mind.
