That's right...for the second year in a row, Okemo is extending their season thanks to solid base depths! The original closing date of Sunday, April 13th has been pushed back to Sunday, April 20th.

Soft snow & sunshine...works for me! The golf course...can wait!

OkeMOGULS Session

Although I can't say I blame you, you guys did blow us off for deeper stashes up north last time we were planning an OkeMOGULS session...;) What's better than FREE skiing and soft bumps?!

Let's do this...the bumps on Black Out were as good as they've been all season!

Okemo NASTAR

It's been an epic snow year at Okemo and I'm happy to report that our NASTAR public race arena has extended its season one more weekend. Dual courses (ski and snowboard gates) will be set this Saturday and Sunday from 10 -2. Come join us to wrap up the season, earn a medal, and start thinking about next year's National Championships.

I'm in for a 420 at Okemo. $29 with my Wachusett pass, nice and cheap. And then Mt. Snow the Sunday after that? Could be a sick April.

"Bring any 3 non-perishable food items to Okemo on Tuesday, April 1 and ski the entire day for FREE! All donations collected will be distributed to local food banks."

I'm bringing a can of corn, a can of creamed corn, and a box of powdered mashed potatoes

Seriously - does Okemo usually do a food drive day? Is it crowded that day? A friend and I are going up, but I'm just a little concerned about crowds considering you're getting a $70 lift ticket for about a $4 investment at the local grocery store (or an $8 investment at the nearest Cumby's to the mountain if you forget to pick your stuff up before you go).
