Okemo Pushes Up Opening Day!

Hey guys, just wanted to let you know we've pushed up Opening Day to this Friday, November 16th! We're going to have 5 lifts servicing up to 12 trails, which has me pretty stoked. The only problem with the aforementioned stoke is it's only Tuesday! Friday can't get here soon enough!!

Lift ticket prices haven't been determined yet, but I'll be sure to let everyone here know as soon as the final decision is made. Of course, you can also keep an eye on our website for the latest information.

How's the snowmaking effort going? I past by the mountain yesterday and it looked like only some of the upper sections had snow.

Dear Chris, Just curious about Okemo's descision to drop out of the Mountains of Distinction program. I went to Okemo a few times (mid-week) with my Wachusett pass and enjoyed the mountain. I know the owners opted to retain Sunapee in the MoD program, but Okemo opted (last year) to offer an "alternative" discount program. So I guess my question is...any chance of Okemo returning to the MoD?

I suppose this would have been a better question for the AZ Challange.

Wachusett Gold, Silver and Bronze holders will receive 50% off the regular price of an Adult Full day lift ticket Monday through Friday, non-holiday and $15 off a regular price ticket weekends and holidays. Present your valid pass at Mountain Services Center located at the Okemo Clock Tower base area and at the Jackson Gore base area.

Probably bus you up from the base to the Northstar quad, thats what they have done in the past.
