Ill assume the same as everywhere else in VT...HURTING....you'll be skiing mostly manmade until some real snow comes along....might have better luck with KMart...they are blowing snow like crazy...they'll have the most open....

My All for One...is collecting dust...GRRRRRRRR..darned pacific jet stream...screw you el nino...

I'll be there Tuesday. It will probably be firm and fast. I'm crossing my fingers and hopefully for a few inches on unforecast.

I skied there today. It is great for the first hour, and then it gets crowded and lumpy. They are opening a few trails everyday with snowmaking and are really doing quite well despite the lousy weather.

Fifty percent more skiing pleasure

Okemo has been blowing snow like crazy and has 50 percent more trails open today than a week ago. 57 trails with 3-5 inches of new snow yesterday. Not bad!

Great! Haven't skied since before the holiday, and I'll be skiing Okemo this week. And next. And next. And next. You get the picture.

When I made my comparison on Dec 23'rd they had 37 open and 14.6 miles of skiing. Today they had 21 miles and 57 trails. Not double!

Skied at Okemo today, and it was an interesting mix of soft, thick crud; ice; death cookies; and ice. The earlier in the morning (and the closer to grooming), the better. Like everywhere else, THEY NEED SNOW!!!!!! But the coverage wasn't bad. And they have quite a bit open, so there's enough to keep you busy.
