so i had a full on double eject, over the bars, crash the other day. I flew about 5 or 6 yards down the trail before my back landed on the snow. Its probably the 3rd or 4th time in the last few years i've had one of these and i gotta say, its the strangest mix of terror and pleasure while you're flipping over waiting for the inevitable touchdown.

if you're gonna wipeout, i say you might as well go down in flames.....

I prefer the catch an edge cartwheel myself. Look to the side of you while you're upside down and see your skis tumbling along with you, now that's a special feeling. Especially under a lift.

My favorite is when I catch an edge and both skis go in opposite directions, causing me to slam down on my face...

I like to call the maneuver I executed flawlessly at Bolton Valley last month "Face Shot, The Hard Way." Charging on a little bit of untracked fresh + somewhat flat light + not quite the optimum location for the water bar crossing and, VOILA!, my skis literally stopped in their tracks while my body became a 6', 230-lb low-altitude projectile. Happened right under the Vista chair, though it was so frickin' cold that morning only a couple people bore witness. I have video of the aftermath but haven't gotten around to doing something fun with it yet.

Face plants in pow I do not mind, though. Which is good, considering how often I practice them.

OTB to a Patroller = Over The Bank.

Now that adds a whole new perspective. Nothing like a good double clicker carnage into the trees or snowmaking pipes... Course it can get pretty messy to say the least !
