Trip Report: Another family ski day and wanted to try something new so we grabbed the kids and headed to Pat's Peak for the afternoon session. Didn't know what to expect but kind of had a feeling it was like a Ski Sundown but bigger. Wasn't dissapointed at all. Everyone had a great time. Don't know if it was the conditions or the mountain but will call it a combo of both.
It's been snowing non-stop for 3 days here in S NH.. not dumping but just a constant light snow. can't believe we were skiing untracked powder in the afternoon after what looked like 4-5 inches fell overnight. Granted, skiing with kids (10,11, 11) so we weren't hitting the hard trails but we had a great time.
No lines and great conditions made for a really fun day on the slopes. Will be back in the neighborhood new a few weeks and will definetly be visiting Pat's again. Great mountain, wonderful staff and a very fun atmosphere.
