Students enjoy a 5-Week Series program along with Bonus Days.

Henniker, NH, October 4, 2011 - Pats Peak, New Hampshire's premier family snowsports destination, announces that registration is going on now for the 2012 Learn To Ski and Ride Program. The Pats Peak Snowsports School strives to provide their students with only the highest quality of instruction. With over 300 professional instructors, every lesson is geared toward the student's age and ability, while providing a fun-learning environment.

The Pats Peak Learn to Ski and Ride Program offers lessons for all abilities. Affordable Rental Packages for the program or entire season are available. New this year is the addition of Burton Learn to Ride, providing snowboarders with top quality equipment gear designed to improve their experience. The program is for pre-scheduled groups for a five-week series. Students must sign up through their school or recreation center coordinator in order to participate in the program. If your local school or recreation center doesn't currently have a coordinator, you can create your own program. To create your own program, call Joni Aubin in the Pats Peak Snowsports School at 603-428-3245 x112 to secure your day and time.

The Pats Peak Learn to Ski & Ride Open Program is available for individual sign-ups. The Open Program offers a choice for students (juniors ages 6-17) who wish to participate in the Pats Peak Learn to Ski & Ride Program, but cannot join a school/recreation center/other program for any reason. The Open Program includes one hour of instruction and a Full Day/All Mountain lift ticket. Students have the choice of Monday through Friday for first session and Thursday and Friday for second session. Students choose 2:30 p.m., or 5:30 p.m. lesson time. To register, contact snowsportsschool@patspeak.com or (603) 428-3245.

Classes are kept a maximum of 12 students with personalized classes. Level 1 through Level 9 classes for both skiing and snowboarding are available, as well as a very popular Freestyle class, which teaches the students how to use the terrain park and its elements safely. A Lift Only option is available for skiers or riders who are Level 5 or above that do not wish to take a lesson, but wish to participate in the program. Students must be at least six years old by 1/1/12 and in first grade in order to participate. Classes start on the scheduled day starting the week of January 3, 2012 for Session 1 and on Thursday, February 16, 2012 for Session 2. Discounted Weekday Parent Tickets and Frequent User Cards are available for parents/guardians.

An exciting benefit for students who participate in the Pats Peak Learn to Ski & Ride Program is a Bonus Day at Pats Peak, Cranmore and Gunstock, offering (1) one free lift ticket to ski/ride at their mountain, valid Monday, February 27, 2012 through the end of their respective ski season. There is no additional cost for this benefit to the program.

"Pats Peak's popular Learn to Ski and Ride Program has been a tradition for many years. Students are able to either sign up through our easy online registration or paper registration. Our NH Ski Mountain Bonus is an exciting benefit to gives students more opportunities to have fun at other New Hampshire mountains in addition to Pats Peak. We are looking forward to another fun season", said Bertie Holland, Snowsports Director at Pats Peak.
