Tony Crocker has put together a pretty interesting chart for each season of the monthly conditions/percentage open. Vermont only. Good through 2010-11

There was only one really crappy season, 2001-02.

Your link didn't work for me but I knew of the site and went back and looked at it anyway. Interesting stuff. I was surprised to see that last year the 3rd week of March was only ranked as B (80% I believe). I remember being up in N Vt about that time and pretty much everything seemed open to me.(or at least snow covered). The other thing I was looking at was the 2006/2007 season. Why? Because I'm finally starting to see something I've been wanting to see, chatter about a 2006/2007 redux.(a major flip in the pattern) The 2nd half of that season was great and according to the chart lasted well into April. It's a bummer to see all these people having to cancel trips out west but to bring out an old expression "its always darkest before the dawn". Here's hoping that history repeats itself and we all make up for lost time in the 2nd half.
