PICO

About a foot of snow fell friday and conditions were so good that we went back on sunday which was even nicer when we woke up to about 4 more inches of fresh pow.

Pico really is a great mountain. Taking Forty niner from the top to the summit glades all the way to the bottom is just an epic trail that just seems to go on forever. Hardly anyone there and almost no snowboarders. A smoke free resort.

View inside the woods looking out to the jump into the Pico bowl. You might call it something else but we call it the Pico bowl.

Nice report and pics and right on the money. I was there on Sunday too and it really was amazing. Pico is a great mountain with tons of character and a lot of vertical. It skis a lot bigger than it looks from Rt 4.

Good to see them doing so well too. It had just the right amount of people there on Sun, the lot was full but it didn't seam crowded at all. The longest lift line was maybe 3-4 minutes at most.

Great, great day at Pico

great pics. the muscle milk girl is a cutie.

She was over at Killington on Saturday with the Mountain Dew Vertical Challlenge (Muscle Milk is one of the co-sponsors), and I will admit to heading by their tent a few times before/during and after my daughter raced in the Challenge! ;)

was there Saturday at the Vermont Cup race. didn't make it off of the little pico triple, but still found some good stuff including following a pack of kids to a 12-15 foot cliff. It was awesome although A slope could had used a little more cover and would had loved to hit up under the chair but there was a patroller standing at the top looking not happy.
