Resort or Ski Area: Pico Mountain

Conditions: groomed hardpack

Trip Report: Pico was a MA/VT border decision by Jake, he liked it a lot last time we skied there. Pulled into the parking lot around 10, on the lift by 10:20. wasn't in a rush, wanted the bright sun do its job on the snow.

went directly over to the summit express lift and headed over towards summit glades. i had a funny feeling it wouldn't be open but we wanted to check. closed, as was most of the top and looker's right of the mountain. Groomers did their job on most of the BLUE trails which is what we spent the day skiing. anything not groomed was in pretty bad shape, bullet proof from the looks of it.

The temps never got above freezing and even though the sun was out all day long the snow never really softened up. Spent most of day working to improve my carving skills. lucky for me i had sharp edges today.

sorry no pictures. dead batteries in the camera :-(
