I will say this- nearly all the beers taste the same. Very minor differences. Best, though, are Zyweic, then Harnas, then some of the Okocim varieties.
Some more loaded. Sucks being on a stolen wireless signal at 11 mbps (at best- 2 currently)
Wow!Perogi! I did not realize Poland had such alpine Mountains.
The Tatras are the youngest mountains in the world, apparently.
If it weren't for the local's environmental concerns (or, more likely, pig headedness), Kasprowy could be a world class ski area. The terrain around there could be amazing. As it is, there's no out of bounds, so if you knew where you were going, the slack country options could be amazing.
Let's also not forget that this country has been under communist rule for a long time. Although the communists were thrown out some time ago, change will take time.
While true, I think the biggest blocker is that the people in that region don't want a bunch of tourists tramping around in their woods. There are two Polish companies, and at least one Swiss and one Italian company, wanting to do the development, and it'd be a doozy, but the mountain folk are a bit set in their ways. They don't take kindly to foreigners, and certainly didn't allow the commies to build any godawful concrete blocks.
Well unless they really need the cash, guess you can't blame them for wanting to protect their treasure.
