The heater will consume all the O2 in the car. WTF!!!!

The O2 does not get consumed by the heater, it gets pushed out through any openings by the heat. Solution: make sure you plug up all possible escape routes, windows, vents, etc.....

Good sleeping bag and a balaclava...you want to crack your windows anyways to help control condensation and reduce the amount of ice scraping you'll need to do on the inside of your windows. You can get a roll of Reflectix insulation from Home Depot and cut it to fit your windows, not just for privacy but it insulates the windows (biggest heat loss through glass) and reflects heat back into the vehicle. You can burn tea lights or even better one of those mini candle lanterns for heat and light and you can always turn the car on for 15 minutes if you wake up freezing cold....make sure your tailpipe is clear of snow.

Also kerosene is a dirty fuel, so use cleaner gasoline - and the kerosene heater will burn cleaner, more efficient and keep you very warm...NOT. IT WOULD EXPLODE, BURNING YOUR CAR AND YOU!!!!!!

I know I do not know either. Any system that burns a fuel will be a problem in such a small enclosure area. Kerosense heaters can be used in a house because the volume is large. You would need to have some sort of make up air to bring in fresh. My house has separate duct for this right next to my power vent for my furnace. It was code!!!!

It got mixed reviews.....

15 amps at 12 volts is 180 watts, in the light bulb category of heat. Plus you get the added benefit of waking up to a dead battery.
