Pow Gloves Zone Gloves
After ten years of developing products for winter sports, Pow Gloves decided to extend its material, fit, and construction expertise to the mountain bike market. Not surprisingly, it was an easy move consider that Pow's employees don't hibernate during the summer months. Instead, they exchange boards for bikes. The Zone Glove is a prefect representation of the attention to detail and quality construction that made these gloves desirable on the slopes, only now, it's the singletrack.
To prevent the Zone Glove from becoming a hand puppet, Pow uses reinforced, double stitching. The back of the hand is constructed from a soft corded nylon shell, that's both tough and lightly padded for protection on tight trails, sandstone walls, and from low hanging branches. At the wrist, a hook-and-loop closure has been combined with a wide neoprene cuff for a secure, non-pinching fit.
The pre-curved palm is treated to Clarino synthetic leather for an excellent grip and dexterity, and unlike regular cycling gloves, the Zone has silicon printed grippers on all of the fingers, not just the middle and index fingers.
