My back deck is covered at 9:45am and its snowing big time here in Woodstock area. You got to love this forcast of 6 to 10 inches for the Catskills. I think Plattekill opens this weekend.

It had been hailing/sleeting/snowing, now it seems to have changed over to mostly r*in here in NJ. (They canceled school in advance, so I'm still happy).

This is a fairly typical dump for the Catskills. Here in Woodstock the snow is NOT wet mash potatoes. I can barely make a snowball stick together. Higher altitudes at the ski areas the snow should be even dryer. This is typical Northeast powder. One inch already fallen. Nine more to go.

LOL on that one.

Right up there with the time we were playing a drunkin' game of Taboo! and time was running out, I had the word "Paste" and couldn't say "elmers" "cut" and so on...and yelled "CTRL + V" !! and my engineering buddy nailed it with 1 second to go...

good times...

ACK!

I have tomorrow off but my plans are all wrong - I am headed north(VT) and I should be headed south(catskills) or West(berkshires)

*I already paid for the ski club bus and its my only chance to use my free ticket for stratton*

Hey Catskill locals - no real report for about 4 hours! I need more info! Is it piling up??????? How about some pics (or at least some pronouns)?

Hopefully they're all out enjoying it. You've probably already seen for yourself, but Hunter and Windham are both reporting 4 inches as of 2ish. Manhattan has about 4 millimeters of soggy slush if anyone's counting...
