Just pulled the trigger on a slightly(barely) used Prior Backcountry Splitboard(168)...

Fully loaded with bindings and skins...
Going to test it out with plate bindings so I can finally try out some AT boots that Jims getting rid of...


I like the AZ watermark...

DMC - any experience w/ splitboards using conventional snowboard bindings?

That's what I've been using with my Burton setup...

Missions bindings with Driver X's boots...

And, your review of the set-up? I was going to use Boxers & Customs. Maybe a bit softer for ascending than the set-up you use..

I like a stiffer boot and binding...
I think a stiffer boot is supposed to be better for skinning..

I was on the old Burton system - which sucks - this new deck(s) will have the Voile' system which is way simpler... Complete with tractor skins and cramps... :)

Going to keep the old setup for partners...
