Put those together with another winter season even close to this last one and good things will be happening. Plus, they should be nice insurance against a more sparse winter.

Anything new on the water situation?

Water wise, I would asume by now they've started the study where they were waiting for the snow to melt around the proposed West Lake Snowmaking pond site to see if the native large animals like to eat some of the berries/foliage there. This to my understanding, combined with a more minor issue between Mount Snow and Wilmington about the use of the pipeline for firefighting purposes along its route, is all that stand sin the way of receiving the ACT 250 permit approval to commence with the water project.

The other really big plus with these fan guns once their installed and Mount Snow won't be renting all the portable diesel air compressors is the estimated 200,000 gallons less of diesel they'll be buying this winter. True their electric bill will be increased with the fan guns, but I'd bet that it's increase is far less than the cost of 200,000 gallons of diesel and the rental fees for 16 large ingersoll rand air compressors for 3.5-4 months! Those savings alone could literally see the capital expenditure(roughly 3.5 million) for this summer's 150+ fan guns paying for itself in a couple of seasons

And maybe keep our passes from raising another $100 each next season?

Yep. This is my understanding too. I hope the tree huggers don't roadblock West Lake like they did with Somerset. Perhaps mamspice will chime in with an update.
