Go to Stan and Dans. They are the best. Any problems with boots bought from them, they will take right care of them for you.

I second the recommendation for Stan and Dan's - see Stan OR Dan and you'll be happy. When I get new boots they will be the ones to fit them.

I'll give a 3rd thumbs up. I haven't visited them for bootfitting myself, but every opinion I've seen about them is a positive one.

Re: Ski Shop in N. Conway

And the winner is ..... Stan & Dan's

I have window shopped there and like what I saw. I'll be paying them a visit for boots this winter.

Thanks to all.

I'll pipe in to recommend Stan & Dans as being the best bootfitters in that area.

Both myself and my wife have been fitted there, and they guarantee their fit for the life of the boot, so you can always just pop in and have then adjust things for you.

They spent hours with my wife finding and fitting a boot for her feet. She has a super long, super narrow foot. They ended up fitting her in junior lange race boots, as there apparently is no adult boot w/a narrow enough heel area to hold her in. They did a bang-up job on her boots. And as an added bonus, they were fairly cheap, being 'kids' boots.

Every time I've been in there, there has been a local or two just popping in to have minor comfort and performance issues adjusted. I've also had a few friends go for minor work there, and all have left happy.
