I want to put some newer bindings on an a pair of ski's that have already had some crappy old bindings on them. I think I should fill the old holes to prevent water from damaging the core? Can I just use a "Bondo" type of filler or a two-part epoxy? What do the pro's think?

Shops have these little plastic plugs to put in old holes. Just bang them in with a rubber mallet and file the extra off. no need for glue or epoxy.

That's what I would do, though I would probably throw a dab of wood glue down there for good measure.

Be careful with epoxy on any ski that has a foam core.

Disclaimer: I've never mounted bindings myself, I'm one of those "internet experts", so keep that in mind. ;)
