I don't why, but this forum doesn't get a lot of hits. Post that question on the forum at www.telemarktips.com and you'll have 100 views and 5 replies within 30 minutes. Not tryin' to dis this forum, and frankly the folks on the t-tips forum are a tad elitist, but there does not seem to be alot of traffic in here. and don't worry about those being "alpine" skis; alot of people rig those freeheel. I just don't know anything about 'em. the guys on t-tips will (oh boy will they! )

I like to think it's quality over quantity. Seriously though, the best way to continue to build this community is for everyone to invite their other online friends to participate here. I think our focus strictly on the Northeast is what sets us apart from other forums. We also have some of the nicest people participating. One thing I see posted over and over about these forums is the limited amount of flaming, trolling, etc. The forum has grown a lot in the past year at what I consider a steady yet manageable pace, but we can always use some new members. So...get recruitin'! :)

Just bought B-1s

I just debated long and hard over this issue and decided on the B-1s. The main difference is in the width. The B-2s are wider and would be better in powder. The B-1s, narrower under the boot, are a little more maneuverable. It depends on what kind of skiing you'll be doing. I figured that I would be on marked trails and bumps 3/4 of the time and in the woods the other 1/4, so I opted for the B-1s. If I knew that ratiio would be reversed, I likely would have opted for the B-2s. I don't think you would go wrong with either, to tell you the truth.
