Rangely makes so much of its winter revenue from snowmachine tourons, which is good for them. My issue is with the noise. Most of the accommodations in the area understandably have snowmobile access. The last think I need is machines coming in at midnight, 1, 2 and 3 am, or reving up at 5AM for the next day, which seems to be a common occurrence.
Any suggestions about where to stay for peace and quiet? The only place that comes to mind is slope-side, which Saddleback aims to increase for exactly this reason.
