Scott Braaten's Latest Forecast on FTO

for those that don't follow scott's forecasts, he is very reliable and accurate with a good analysis to backup his predictions. according to his forecast, it looks like winter has finally returned with several small events this week up to 8" in some areas. perhaps a nice upslope storm next week as well. did i mention i'll be skiing next week? the coincidence is freaky to say the least.

Damnit, Steve. So your injury was the reason for our miserable winter all along?

Next winter I order you to ski all season in an inflated avalung.

I still say you had something to do with this warmup and cold winter. If you can't ski pow then no one can. ( I can't figure out how to do the wink face here but just pretend it's here)

Lets hope he's right Steve! Is there anyway that you could get on the slopes for this weekend? I could use some more snow... ;)

Here's another one...

My son David, who broke his arm about a week after you, was cleared for full activity again last night. He'll be skiing again for real this coming weekend. Had his first real soccer practice last night.

And now it will snow.

So, anyplace 2-2.5 hours from Boston looking good for a possible powder day tomorrow?
Doesn't look like anything in southern NH is slated for anything more than an inch or so.

Failing that, what's Sunday look like?

Doesn't solve my injury, likely a torn MCL. The ortho said the season was over. Until I get my MRI results, I'm not going there yet. Headed to Tahoe on Wed though. Looks like a lot more gambling than skiing unfortunately.

No problem, I didn't expect you to go against doctors orders. Just selfishly trying to get some more snow... ;)

You can barely see thru the camera lens on the MRV webcam looking at SB Lincoln Peak....too much snow clinging to the lens....I love that problem. www.madrivervalley.com It's lookin' wicked nice outside right now....
edit: now you can't see thru it at all, totally snow covered lens. Rt 100 is covered too. Come on up, kids.....would hate to enjoy this without you.

I just got lucky and was able to watch the landowner where the cam is go out and clean the lens off. That was funny. Now you can see the snow coming down!

Woah! Way too many words in his forecast and way too many $100 words. Cliff Notes, please?
