This is not an attack…repeat…this is not an attack. I’m just curious.

Greg’s dedication to me in the 5 best days thread got me thinking. When did you guys start making videos every time you go skiing? I believe you once posted a lot of pictures, but now it’s all videos. Was it a conscious decision to help you with your bump skiing technique?

BTW, I think it’s great you guys do it. It lets you relive the fun all week and you’ll be glad you have them in years to come. SO THERE, don’t give me any showing my true colors crap there Grassi.

Ok. I will reserve it for a different thread ;-)

For me, the vids help me track my progress and curse myself for poor form.

It's to show everybody how bad-ass we are, of course...

Seriously, you answered your own question in the last paragraph. Just a way to share and relive the experience. I've got it down so that I don't spend a ton of time shooting vid. I just yank out the camera and shoot what I can and try not to disrupt the flow of the day. I also enjoy editing the videos and that doesn't usually take me more than an hour or two over some beers at the end of a ski day.

We probably have filmed every single mogul at Sundown numerous times and I'm sure it gets old for many of you, but a part of me hopes that someone will stumble on those vids and say, "hey, Sundown looks pretty cool" and they might check it out...

On an average night we take roughly 15-20 runs. The camera gets pulled out 3 maybe 4 of those runs. So while it seems like all we do it take film of each other that really isn’t the case.

I can not speak for the rest of the group but personally I love the vids. I’m not sure what the rest of you guys/gals think, but I know there are times while I am skiing where I wonder what I look like while skiing. Whether it is riding up a lift and watching somebody absolutely rip it up or some gaper not exactly rip it up, I always wonder which one I look like. The vids are a great way to not only see what you look like but see the transition of ones skills enhance over the course of the year.

LONG LIVE THE C.L.I.T.S. !!! haha

The vids are great to help relive the gnar at a later date, or to show others who missed it how awesome it was. It started with pictures, but that only shows you so much, once a few of us got video cameras taking pictures just didn't seem to cut it anymore.
