I have a choice of EITHER a Alta or Snowbird pass. Can't do both at this point. I'll be going to school at Westminster in SLC and should be able to ski 4+ days a week.

I've never skied either of the mountains. I tele, love pow, love dropping cliffs, and love steeps. Snowbird has more vert (?) Alta has more soul (?)

Gimme an east coaster's perspective of some things to think about. Thanks!

I would get an Alta pass if you are a skier..

One thing though - if you are a snowboarder - unfortunately Alta DOES NOT allow snowboarding. If that is the case - then get the Snowbird pass.

Flip a coin-either decision is good.

Alta is a bit cheaper right?
