The other side of the continent, but I just got back from Tunisia. There is already snow in the Atlas Mountains in Algeria and Morocco and they have a couple of resorts there. Right within sight of the Sahara Desert where the summer temps can reach 130 degrees.

I don't know... after watching Babel, I don't have any desire to head to Morocco (or that region) any time soon.... :-o
