didn't get to the end of the video, but what I want to know is, why is that guy getting undressed on the trail?
To fight. You do know you have to take off your shirt to fight, right?

This one is a bit more complcated. Your thoughts?
The cameraman. He should've been spotting the jump for the person he was trying to film.
I think he was hitting on her.

#1 Cameraman - if you're on a feature in a park filming, 1st and foremost it's YOUR job to make sure that the landing is clear for those you're about to film - Heck in my kids park instruction group one of the 1st and foremost things that they teach (even at Mount Snow where that video was shot!) is the importance of a spotter, since on many features their size and shape is such that you CAN'T see the landing area from the in run
#2 The skier launching off the jump - if you're not sure it's clear, don't go. Plus if his buddy was on the jump filming, he should of asked if it was clear for him to go
#3 The Boarder - the video didn't show if the boarder just haphazardly making turns went into the landing area (any non park user NEEDS to be aware not to enter a landing area from the side) or if they had previously fallen and were down on the snow. If the boarder just decided to make turns in the landing area, then they suddenly acquire more of the blame for the inicident, if they were previously down on the landing area, then they are off the hook blame wise
If you look closely, there is both a camera man AND an jump spotter. Somehow both missed the boarder coming into the landing area. The skier jumping it did what he was supposed to and had a spotter. I am assuming here that the spotter had given him the clear sign. The spotter should be watching the jump landing area, not focusing on the incoming jumper. This is how the boarder managed to foul the landing area and a wave off not occur. The skier is totally dependent on the spotter for this. Now how and why the boarder got there is another whole argument that can be had.
Maybe I'm mistaken, but doesn't the boarder go off the jump prior to the skier? My guess would be they didn't clear the table top and fell on the landing.
foul language alert
The stereotype for skiers vs boarders is reversed in that video.I have to wonder why you take your shirt off to fight when your a skinny dude, but it did seem to work.haha.
Everyone in that video is the loser.
foul language alert
that is a classic. It went viral a couple years ago....Whistler IIRC. It almost seems fake
If it's not staged, I can't understand what would possess those idiots to post a video of the confrontation on the internet. The "dad" was clearly the instigator and bigger deuche, especially doing so in front of his kids, but the guys filming certainly started to act like morons themselves.

Not only that, but when I read TTB's post, it triggered how the tall, doofy snowboarder kept saying sortof the same thing, almost like a line. If you watch it a second time, it does seem sort of rehearsed.
I'm sure I'm overanalyzing this, but watching it a 2nd time it wouldnt shock me at all if it's fake. Take a GOOD looks at 0:27. The "punch" is pretty weak, pretty staight-armed, and the snowboarder goes down in a very calculated, somewhat bizarrely linear fashion.
If I were forced to put money on it at this point, I'm going with "staged".
