Skiing is fairly intermediate. Some good cruisers, neat winding trails on skiers right off the top. Some bumps off the side of the top, skiers left. SOme others scattered about. Family mountain. Litttle lodge at the top with beer and wine. Nice views off the top toward Mt Washington and across the valley. They have the after 2 pm ski. Which is ski after 2 and the next day for the price of one day. Good for the day you drive up.

Haven't skied there in 20 years or so...did run into a guy atWildcat last week who skied it the day before and was pleasantly surprised from what he had remembered. I do recall one kinda cool trail off the top, but like I said, it's been 20 years.

First 'big' mountain I went to after learning at Ward Hill. Went with my mom and dad a few times. Only thing I remember was the old ski mobile lift that went up to the top. I think I enjoyed that more than the actual skiing. We're talking 1983 though

Being a family mountain it is well groomed in most places. There was a glade run off to skiers right that was fun. Went in a few times when I was there last Feb.

It's a nice hill! Some classic NE cruisers on skiers right off the top, a few trees here and there and tons of history! If you go be sure to check out the East Bowl on the backside which features the oldest operating double chair in the Northeast.

family mountain, great cruiser runs, with some old time twisty runs, great place to ski when it is windy and cold in the mt washington valley.

If there is a lot of snow Cranmore is a blast.....kinda like Black in that regard.

This would be the weekend to give it a go. Smellytele sums it pretty nicely above.

My GF works there so the place has grown on me. She lives 5 minutes away so I'll hit it if I'm too lazy to drive to SR or someplace else. The aforementioned trails on skiers right really are fun. The mountain is also fairly wind resistant with good sun exposure. The glades were open before this storm so I'll bet today was awesome there.
