i used to meet girls when i worked in the bus parking lot at Hunter back in the day...

We hit on the girlies and find out if they were havin parties at the hotel...

Since starting my "career" in the NH ski industry 15 years ago all of my romantic experiences, first, last or other have been at least skiing related. This includes numerous ski dates, one tubing date and a wide range of experiences. My wife and I have been together ten years (3 married) and while our first date was not on the slopes I did join her on the hill when she decided to try snowboarding. I practiced being patient along with side slipping and riding switch. I also accompanied her last winter when she resumed skiing for the first time in 8 years after her ACL surgery (a skiing related injury). This time I polished my patience and practiced my tele-turns.

Also, my parent's (mother and step father) first date was a ski trip to Cannon in 1972. They married on the Alpine Garden Trail in 1976 (in June, no snow).

Wow that's pretty romantic..any girl that skis or even....gasp...snowboards gets extra GSS goldstar points..

First time I went out with my wife was to Hunter Mountain. She to this day will say it was not a date but to me it was. She became my ski partner and still is to this day ACL replacement and all. We produced two more skiers too.
