Had a great one last night..

Dreamed I was flying down Hellgate at Hunter carving deep trenches on a bright sunny day... It was one of those dreams where I'm above looking down at myself..

"Third person" view but "first person" feeling

I was pushing so hard that there was even that slight out of control feeling that I sometimes feel at high speeds before I fully set an edge and lock in... I love that stuff...

Wierd thing is I have no idea what I was riding on...board? skis? tele's? I woke and couldn't figure it out... It was almost like I had nothing under my feet and I was high speed glissading(sans the ice axe)..

Can't wait...

It depends for me, sometime I have three ski dreams in a row, someitmes I have a whole week of no ski dreams. Usually Im either at Sunnapee or Whaleback, but sometimes I ski at a random place I have no clue where I am. There lots of fun though. I usually ski dream every day durring fall and winter though. :)

Had a ski dream last week. They're always too good to be true. Mine was something along the lines of Sundown having an additional 300 feet of vertical and seeded bump runs all over the mountain...

I had my first ski dream of the season the other day, the only problem was that it was more of a nightmare!

I was at my local mountain for opening day. There was lots of sweet pow everywhere and it was still falling, but no one showed up!!! That was good since I was supposed to be working, but they let me go so I could ski. When I went to get ready I found that someone had stolen my boots!!! For some reason it didn't occur to me to rent some. I rode the lift up with my street shoes jammed into the bindings. Luckily I woke up before the dream could go any further...

Last night I had a pretty good one, except I was working a lift for part of that one too. I think there's something wrong with me...

I had a ski dream last week, but it was way worse than your's brian.

I dreamt that i was at Jay Peak and there was a 2 foot dump, but for some reason I forgot how to ski. And then some random person reminded me that i am a good snowler blader, so I snow bladed 2 feet of freshies all day long. I remember it was tip dive central and people above on green mountain freezer were laughing at me.

Over at whaleback, we were just hanging out, and one of my snowboarding friends decided to try and fit his boot into my bindings! It worked, for a little while, and then they came off and he went flying forwards. It was pretty funny watching a snowboarder skiing around, it worked better if they were backwards too. :)

I've been having the same ski dream a lot lately. Basically, I'm on some moderately steep groomed terrain and I keep speeding out of control and having to come to an abrupt stop to avoid crashing. My skill level in these dreams is lower intermediate at best. Weird.

It's ok to dream about being better than you really are Greg. ;)

I wish I had ski dreams. Had one once, don't remeber it much. It would make rainy summer months more bearable.

The other night I dreamed I was in a race down the right hand side of Jiminey Peak. There were no gates, just a Downhill full speed race down. Of course I won the race.

Ski Dreams

Happens all the time to me. Usually I'm floating through the trees on some steep and deep powder. In fact, if I wake up too early to get up, I can actually "provoke" a ski dream. I must have snow on the brain! And yes, I'm a better skier in my dreams then I am on actual snow. On the other hand, I consider it great practice to "dream" myself better.

I wish my ski dreams would come back. Lately I've been having dreams that I robbed a bank or something and I'm running from the authorities. I keep finding a place to stay, but then they find me and I have to pack up all my stuff and run away again... :(

Where's the snow already?????

Well, Lately I haven't been able to remember my dreams, although we all dream, we can't always remember that we did. In order to rember a dream, you have to be partly awake, I love remebering my ski dreams though, they always make me feel like Im floating on top of the snow, and effortlessly turning in big G turns or S turns. :)

I haven't had a full-fledged ski dream in a long time. Last night I did have a dream in which I was wearing -one- of my BD gauntlets.
In the dream I asked my wife, "Why the hell am I wearing -one- glove?" My ski pass arriving yesterday seems to have my unconcious putting it's ski boots on.

I had one last weekend. It was pretty funny. I was boarding at Sugarloaf, but the trail I was on wasn't any real trail. Mostly there were spring conditions, but I also crossed several hundred yards of grass without slowing down or hitting rocks. On the grassy parts, I passed several people camping and hiking.

The goofiest part was: do you know how in the latest SSX video game, if you do an Uber-trick you go in slow motion? Every time I caught air, it was like that. I was spinning like crazy, doing 720s and 900s off of little hits. Apparently I'm quite rad in my dreams.

Once I got to the base area, typical dream plot dissociation occurred. There was a subway station in the base village. Some hippie kids tried to get me to shoplift cigarettes for them. I ended up wandering around a giant apartment building whose rooms were not numbered in any reasonable order, then I woke up. I should have taken another run!

I have a reoccuring one that I'm on a really really long chair lift. Once in 5 times I have the dream I actually get to ski. Gee am I obsessed with skiing?
