Yuh, still skiing!! Here are some interesting "thin cover" photos from my trips this weekend proving that yes, there is still skiing to be had!!

This is my "what the f%^&?" photo from Zoomer at Cannon on Friday. Can you figure out how to get down?

Here it is from the chair...one of two routes:

And from a more interesting perspective:

  Yup, still skiable!!!!

And here's a shot from Flume at Loon on Sunday:

So do any of you have any great thin cover pics from this season??

My thin cover picture is of Devil's Fiddle from Killington in the gallery. There was a nice horizontal bare area about 6' wide across the whole trail.

Everyone skiing the trail was taking there ski's off for this bare area, I just side stepped over it as the area is steep and I was to lazy/hot to bother with that. That's my favorite trail on Bear Mtn.

Thin Cover

Here is a shot on Birch Run (off the North Lynx Chair, Lincoln Peak) at Sugarbush on Sunday.

In fairness, though, please look at the entire Gallery album. The second photo was taken just a few seconds later from the same spot. The next two are the same day on the upper mountain, and for good measure the last three are from today at Mt. Ellen.
